About Runcorn Golf Club:
Runcorn Golf Club was established in 1909 as a 9-hole course on heath land celebrated its Centenary Year in 2009. The course continued as 9 holes until the early 1970's when it was extended to 18 holes, this being completed in 1977.

The course, which is situated on the highest part of Runcorn, has now matured into a fine tree-lined parkland course giving easy walking with views over the Mersey and Weaver Valleys. The undulating course has superb greens that will test the best of putting skills having a variety of excellent designs and features. The course is a thorough test for all golfers and is truly a 'hidden gem' with visitors and societies returning annually.

The Golf Club has a total membership of 650 across all categories including a talented Junior Section. Social Membership is also available for those people who don't play golf. The Golf Club has a full competition calendar and hosts open events. These are informal tell-ups on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Club does not operate a Tee-time booking system.
