Heath resident Sue Bentley receives MBE honour

Sue Bentley, Commercial Director of Heath resident business Skill Zone Ltd, was awarded a Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) this weekend in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Sue Skill Zone MBESue gives a lot of her time working hard to support charity organisations in the north west of England and is a director of the Warrington Disability Partnership, a disability services organisation which also runs events such as the annual Disability Awareness Day, The Positive Action Awards, and which has created the pioneering Warrington Access Guide which provides useful information on access to shops and services in Warrington and the surrounding area. She is also passionate about other projects such as St Mark’s Universal Copt Care which is raising awareness about the needs of communities and churches in Egypt and Sudan, and she has been involved in the WI for many years including a successful Bee Garden project.

The MBE was given to Sue for services to charity and the community and is very well deserved. Congratulations Sue!
