With almost 50 years history under its belt our staff are knowledgeable, experienced, professional and friendly in their approach to providing laboratory space to residents.

Laboratories can be rented 'as is' or can be designed/changed/fit-out to suit the bespoke requirements of your business. SOG Ltd's project team will work closely with you from beginning to end to ensure all your needs are catered for. Our in-house team will provide cad drawings and costings for any required project work for your approval and sanction.

Whether your requirements are for a small lab facility to accommodate a new-start business or a larger facility to suit corporate requirements The Heath provides the perfect environment for your business.

All lab modules are equipped with waste, water and air services. Fully vented fume cupboards, benching, sinks, write-up areas etc will be installed to suit your business requirements.

For a monthly fee your serviced accommodation at The Heath includes:

24/7 access and manned security control

Waste disposal/laundry/cylinder gases - all of these services, if required, will be arranged by your individual business. However, SOG Ltd's day services team will be on hand to assist with movement of waste drums, delivery of cylinders etc to save you time.

We currently have 2 small laboratories that are equipped with benching, waste, water and air services. Both are first floor location within our Science Centre and are ideal as start-up laboratory space, project space for a set period of time or for any SME organisation that needs a dedicated space.

Fully vented fume cupboards, additional benching, sinks, write-up areas etc can be installed to suit your business requirements

A small kitchen and toilet facilities are available within the building. Central facilities (Foodini restaurant, business lounge, Events Suite, Conference Centre, Heath Leisure Suite, car parking etc) are just a short walk.

Lab 2:

Larger scale laboratories are also available within our Science Centre and are equipped with benching, waste, water and air services. The majority have lab write-up space within the lab. Fully vented fume cupboards, additional benching, sinks, write-up areas etc can be installed to suit your business requirements.

SHE Group, part of SOG Ltd, are an experienced and successful safety, health and environment (SHE) consultancy group with a broad knowledge base and extensive training skills. This means they have the right credentials to help you with the SHE issues you face on a day-to-day basis. Enlisting their help will enable you to focus more energy on your core business activities in the knowledge that the safety aspects of your business are in good hands.

They are a friendly and approachable customer-driven team with chartered safety professionals, capable of delivering a high-quality and cost-effective service based on your particular needs. They have the capability to deliver a wide range of "off-the-peg" training events, some of which are unique to SOG Ltd, such as Deal With It – behavioural safety, or create "customised" versions to match your specific requirements.
