A specialist one-day training course for scientists and technologists is being held at The Heath Business and Technical Park in October.

The training day on Thursday, October 21, organised by Avakado media, is expected to attract around 50 delegates from the chemical industry to hear four industry experts share their expertise in the specialist area of peptide synthesis.

Among the speakers will be SpheriTech founder and CEO Don Wellings. Delegates at the Peptide Synthesis 2010 event will gain an insight into SpheriTech’s highly specialised consultancy and laboratory-based research and development services.

SpheriTech was launched in June 2009 as a one-man operation by Don Wellings. The company, based at The Heath, provides customers with research into a range of sectors including chromatography, peptide synthesis, polymer synthesis and cell culture. In the last 12 months, SpheriTech has gained financial backing from a private investor and a government grant to continue its specialised work.
