SOG is delighted to announce that our new Heath Community Website is now live.
A lot of work has gone into getting this together in a such a short space of time – please visit the website www.heathlive.com and look at what we have to offer to The Heath community (residents, customers & users of our facilities). We are trying to keep people engaged during these unprecedented times and Heath Live is a perfect platform to bring people together.
The website is being fronted by Ryan Lewis, Project Manager at The Heath, who is enjoying a diversified role as ‘presenter’! Well done Ryan.
Ryan is also helping collate a “celebrity” message for each day so please look daily to see what’s new – you will be extremely surprised who we have lined up!! Some will be videos, others will be via podcasts and covering a wide range of subjects as we have a wide age demographic to cover.
We at The Heath appreciate that these are challenging times and people need to keep busy, both physically and mentally. We are therefore trying to give people an avenue to stay in touch with us and their friends. Heath Gym instructors have re-created “Exercise Classes” so that people can exercise from home safely. The team ran a Live Facebook Meta fit Class allowing members to take part along with their friends – albeit in their own homes but being able to see each other. Last week they trialled a live “Nifty Fifty’s” class.
Anthony Stonebanks, Catering Manager, has been busy creating some cooking videos, Alison Albion some Easter art ideas, Odin the Barber is recording his story that was recently printed in the local press, and Alan McKie of OlderbutWiser has sent some footage which is now live. Some fantastic contributions to help make Heath Live a super all inclusive site for people to enjoy.
If you have any suggestions for inclusion contact Eileen Miller on 01928-51-1151 or E: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any funny video clips please share via You Tube (just send the link).
There is also a “Chat Room” and a Message Board – so we encourage people to interact with each other.
We very much look forward to developing this site further and with your support. Enjoy.
